I attended the St Neots Bowmen 'have a go' stand connected to the Offord D'Arcy fete. A complete novice to this but within 10minutes of clear instruction how to stand and hold the bow, my friend and I managed to hit the targets. Boom. Thank you to the professionals for your patience. A clear and valuable lesson in health and safety too as the instructors informed what to do to allow the professionals to collect arrows - bows and arrows down, stand behind the safety line and whistle blown to confirm it was safe to walk to the targets. Thank you all on Saturday 24th.
