The car is great, I've had it for a year and still running well. However, I was never sent my log book which is concerning, all I received was the green new owner slip.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience here. I purchased a Honda Civic 1.8 VTEC SE 2010 plate vehicle, which looked in good condition and had a decent service. However, after taking the car in for a service and inspection with a local Honda specialist they found lots of problems with the car. A cracked coil spring (MOT Failure!), major issues with the suspension/dampers, clutch was really squeaky and had a very low biting point, they advised it was on the way out. Was quoted £1200 to £1500 to correct the issues. I contacted GT Paxton and said I would prefer if they could fix the squeaky clutch and coil spring. They weren't willing to fix the problems and said apart from the coil spring everything is fair wear and tear. They said the coil spring would be covered under the warranty provided, but hang on, it shouldn't have been sold like that in the first place, they should resolve it! The Honda specialist told me it was a disgrace that they sold it in that condition and for what I paid (£3895). So I had just spent and lost £400+ on the service and an air con regas and paid top money for a vehicle that was not fit for purpose and would have failed an MOT. They will come back to this review and say it's an old car.......it's fair wear and tear........etc etc. I disagree and so does the Honda mechanic, the car was not fit to be sold like that and I have wasted my time and money. They didn't offer to pay anything towards the service I paid for and have relisted the car saying it's just had a full service and no mention of the coil spring. I would avoid this garage or at the very least get the car fully inspected before even entertaining a purchase.

Great buying experience with Simon, really knows his stuff and great dealing with a long-term established dealership like this. Will be back in the future!

I can thoroughly recommend this company. There was no pressure to make a decision, so, 3 hours after arriving, I set off on the 5 hour journey home, in the spotlessly clean, comfortable Saab 9-3X that I had arranged to see. Bill and Simon were a pleasure to meet. Thank you both, I am very happy with my car and was satisfied with the trade-in price of my Saab 9-5 estate.

I very rarely leave reviews however, I would highly reccomend this place, both of the gents that i met were polite and helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly not pushy, it was a very relaxed viewing and I did spend alot of time with the car and looking at the car due to previous experiences I was nervous buying yet another car (previous cars and experiences not from this garage) The car has been pefect not a single issue and we have had it for 10 months now and it's just passed its mot, hopefully it will not be for a long time as we love the car but in future would defo just come straight back here Would 100% reccomend this place Thanks Pete

I have to admit that I am serial car buyer, and thus meet a lot of dealers. But Bill Gaskin and his team are the friendliest, most professional outfit I have ever met. The car was perfectly prepared, and Bill took time to explain some of the features. I would definitely buy from Bill again.

Having found exactly the Saab 9-5 Aero I’d been after at a very good price, I got the train the next day to be helpfully met by Simon at the station. He and Bill are enthusiastic, friendly and professional. I’ve bought far too many cars over the years; everyone from high end main dealers to front driveway operators. I can confidently say that these guys are the best I’ve had the genuine pleasure of dealing with. Highly recommended.

I have bought a number of cars from Offord Motors, and always received brilliant and affordable customer service. If anyone wants a Saab or a Volvo in particular (although they do have a number of other makes) I can't think of any other dealer I would recommend.
